Lee Courtney is president of Bay Area Arts and Music Organization (BAAMO).

For the past 25 years, Lee Courtney has been involved in both music and promotion. He started out in advertising, most recently as advertising and marketing director for Lorensen Enterprises.

In 1985 he began a career in radio broadcasting at WWUH in Connecticut, serving as production and underwriting director, and programmer. He is now music director at Community Radio WMNF 88.5 in Tampa.

In the past two years, Lee has produced and managed over 20 tribute concerts, including a three-day, three-city event celebrating the Rolling Stones. These 20 events involved 1200 local musicians and raised more than $100,000 for WMNF's operating fund.

Lee along with five other Tampa Bay music lovers created BAAMO seven years ago. Lee is also executive producer of BAAMO's CD releases including the most recent "Tales of Lust and Longing," which has been played on radio stations around the world and has been one of the most played CDs on 88.5 WMNF.

Lee is owner and president of the publishing company The Easy Guide.
